Pricing Actuary, London Market

Location: London (2-3 days in the office)

Salary: Up to £100,000 + bonus

Have you recently qualified or are you close to qualifying? Do you have significant experience of London Market pricing? And are you wanting more responsibility in your role?

This is a great opportunity for someone that wants the exposure to multiple lines of business within the London Market (property liability, specialty lines, etc.), to work closely with underwriters and utilise as well as develop their technical skills (e.g. machine learning models). You'll be joining an innovative team that's responsible for a number of interesting projects meaning you'll get good variety in your role and the chance to take the lead.

Some of the key responsibilities:

• Large account and case pricing, as well as rate reviews for multiples lines across the London market
• Taking the lead on a variety of projects
• Development of rating tools and pricing models
• Collaborating with other areas of the business, particularly Underwriting
• Managing/superivising 1-2 analysts in the team

What you will need for this role:

• Be a qualified actuary, close to qualifying or part-qualified with several years of experience.
• Experience of London Market case pricing
• Good technical and modelling skills - e.g. rating tools and rate reviews
• Experience of managing different portfolios and do deep dives on them
• The ability to lead on projects and manage different stakeholders
