Data Architect

Data Architect – London – Insurance – London Market

An experienced Data Architect is required by a London Markets insurance company to work with the existing architecture team and report into the Head of Architecture on a priority project.

It is essential that you have strong experience and understanding of the London Market including underwriting and claims processes, Insurance systems, London market messaging, and Blueprint 2.

The role will include responsibility for:

• Building on and developing the existing enterprise-wide Data Strategy
• Ensuring data integrity through establishing a framework of data principles
• Working with third party suppliers to ensure congruence with the data architecture
• Data security principles

You will also need:

• Data architecture best practices
• Cloud based architecture
• Data engineering best practice
• Data Science tools (e.g. Python, R)
• Excellent data modelling and problem-solving skills
• Experience with tools such as MongoDB, Apache Spark, Hadoop, etc.
