John Newstead

John has over 20 years’ experience of building businesses and relationships across major financial institutions, including Banks, Asset Managers and Hedge Funds and has led on a wide range of mandates across trading and front office personnel, covering multiple asset classes within both Low and High touch trading. Hiring individuals and teams across EMEA, Asia and the US.

He works with new and established Hedge Funds providing strategic advice, not just around talent, but also across investment and trading strategies. Recruiting Portfolio Managers, Analysts and Traders for Funds across both Equity and Debt globally covering both discretionary and systematic companies.

Prior to moving into Search, John spent 16 years working in Tier 1 Investment Banks in Europe and the US.
